In addition, the team played an outdoor game in Clark Park in downtown Detroit which was an unbelievable experience for the team. The weather was exactly like Florida wanted it, around 10-15 degrees F, slight wind, and snow falling consistently. Hot cocoa was abundant to keep both the teams and the fans warm. Tremendous hospitality shown by Honeybaked and the crew at Clark Park to make the game possible. The team played Honeybaked in a tough matchup with the elements a huge factor and skated to a 2-2 tie.
This link features online streaming of each of the games from the Superseries for all of those fans, family, and extended family who weren't able to make the trip. A special thanks goes out to the technician of the entire broadcast Capt. Evan Cyhaniuk, head broadcaster and play-by-play announcer Marc Wites, and color-commentating by Dr. Jason Schwartz. Job well done!!
